Been stuck under this trailing front for a while now, persistent heavy rain. Not checked the raingauge recently but must have had another 25-30mm today and still coming down.

Some powerful gusts earlier when a squall line passed through.

Looks like we are getting the inland fresh to strong winds that were forecast now.

The winds are not damaging but considering that its suppose to be remaining like this tomorrow will mean that it will probably be the most prolonged amount of wind since the inland gales to severe gales we had around christmas. The windy spells we had after that were the same strength as now but they were only there for a few hours vs nearly two days.

Will there ever be an end to this, lets hope so, bring on the cold days and the hard frosts PLEASE LOL ..Posted Image

Gusting a lot more now, with some pretty beefy gusts too, many islands roads closed and impassable, yet people still try and drive threw flood waters.  Looking at the radar some heavy downpours due soon
