Rovaniemi is the captial of Lapland in finland, Here's a link thats worth bookmarking for the winter http://www.rovaniemi.fi/Kansainvalinen-sivusto/English/Webcam

You will see (WEBCAM&360) Click on select option and then you will see a number of places that you can select but a good one is (Lordi Square)

There's a temperature thing in the middle of the square that updates every 10 seconds, Ive seen that at -41 Posted Image and people walking around still

getting on with there daily lives and people in the UK moan when it's -5 Posted ImagePosted Image

That is a nice webcam. Clicking on the webcam "Lordi's Square (fast connections)" it shows a very high resolution image.

I have great interest in these cameras as I'm off to Lapland next Feb, (always looking for the first snowfall)!! This will be my 4th time..........such a magical place. Got down to -25 last time I was there. Experienced frozen eye lashes!!

Back from Lapland now. The 19th was bitterly cold, our guide we had on that afternoon found a thermometer that said the wind chill made it -18. Shortly after it started to snow. Lapland didnt dissapoint :-)
