Hi all

According to these tonight and 1st part of wednesday wet

Thursday afternoon looks showery as well

The weekend and fri looks dry

Got a feeling cloud and warm for us from weekend onwards

Mist an issue east coasts as well

Anyway who wants 30 degrees and cannot sleep at night temps :-)

I prefer the charts mid next week showing a north westerly which would give more sun

And less humidity

Hope your all well

Thought i had finished decorating but now doing another room

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Will definately do fax updates tonight onwards

Talk later

Hello John,

NMM charts have it wet very first thing in the morning, then drying out through the day, just lingering on some East Kent coasts.

Thursday is very isolated, maybe a tinkle over Wimbledon:

Hi coast

Hope your well

Think your right

Wimbledon may get the odd shower

Looked at earlier fax charts so the trough will probably be gone or be very

Weak thursday when they update shortly

You any good at decorating :-)

Posted Image No John, but give me long enough to make a phone call and I can find someone to do the stripping.

Horrid day today, cloudy, cool and windy, yuck. Spots of rain but that's it, hopefully will get a good soaking tonight?

Ooooh errr missus.

Moving swiftly on.....what a difference from the weekend ?  Am I the only doubter with regards to this alledged heatwave on the horizon ??  I can't help thinking the Met Office may be setting themselves up for an almighty fall but sincerely hope I am wrong.  I say that as someone who generally defends the MO. Fingers crossed eh ?

I'm obviously not local to you guys, but no, you are not the only doubter. People are whipping themselves up into a frenzy (the best spell since 2003/2006/1976!) +30c etc...?? Given the dreary dross we have had to endure here for the past 6 years I'm somewhat jaded and pessimistic but I truly believe there are going to be a few red faces this time next week (and it's not from the sun)....

Hi Cloudwatcher, welcome and thanks for taking the time and trouble to post in this thread. I tend to agree there has been quite a lot of ramping about this on several websites, but I'm quite suprised the Met Office are sticking their necks out as far as they are. All the signs are pointing towards it, but how many times have we seen forecasts blow up in our faces at short range??  I genuinely hope I am wrong, but on a local website I do amateur forecasts for, I have been keeping my powder dry until nearer the time.

Hi bb

Playing caution as well

The fax charts should now help with wind flow now

Weather should be ok

Its the cloudcover which will be key for us

Be back later :-)

Evening all, Posted Image

Just a quick hi, finally resolved my Laptop problems and good to be back amongst the fold. Must say, a bit steamy a page back, thought I'd stumbled into a rehearsal for Carry On Forecasting!

Still on course then for a prolonged fine, settled spell but as stated earlier, how warm it gets will depend on the placement of that area of high pressure, close to the UK.

Regards and great to be back.

Tom.
