Following on from the tornadoes, here we go with some of the lightning shots from the storm chase over the last few years - there are so many to choose from so these are just a selection of the highlights.

I loved this one from two year ago following a storm chase that meant that we travelled through Joplin that was later hit by a severe tornado less than 10 days later. The lightning strike is around 1min 47 secs and a streamer hit the telegraph wire 20 yards ahead.

 

 

Really sad that I have only been chasing once with Paul S and the others, but even though I am unable to return this year I am desperate to return.
