Sorry to hear that Terry, from a former Lee resident to a current one. Hopefully we'll have some warmer weather by then and the funeral goes as well as can be expected.

Regards,

Tom.

Thanks Tom and I can tell you Lee is just as exciting as always and still freezing.

Look in the North Sea big old blob coming in.

Give it a hour or so to see if it can produce anything.

I have a family funeral on 11th April and its a burial so I was banking on it being somewhat warmer. It will be a bad, and sad, enough day already so I don't need any more cold to ruin it thank you.

hi terryall

done all this recently and are hopefully all goes well on the day

sorry for your loss

cannot predict anything that far at present but will keep an eye on that day for you

It's lovely. But for a REAL heatwave only this one will do… OMG I can't wait for summer now. Come on Carlito!

To keep it weather related, can we have Song Of The Wind next or Look Up (to see whats coming down), in fact anything from Caravanserai.

Only joking mods!

Regards,

Tom.

Thanks John. I know you have recently been in a similar place and we have had to wait 4 weeks for the funeral and still got 2 weeks to go so it is really all going very slowly. Just want it to warm up a bit.

That's the one I was referring to about off the coast of Holland earlier. Think you might be lucky if it clips Kent but could be wrong.

Fingers crossed here. Does it not always matter about wind direction?

It's dying a death! Travelling over water it should by rights pick up moisture, but it's weakening from the high pressure, not for the north though! Arghhh! lazy.gif

hi alexis

wind and flow can differ

thats why we have to watch the radar to see which direction these showers take

http://www.xcweather.co.uk/GB/observations

winds according to this are nne to ne which look ok at present

I think it's because our water is a lot colder then it is usually.

Regarding this years Spanish plume potential, I have a feeling it really will be non-existent again, our waters are far too cold and will take a long long time to start warming up. The reason we had violent storms during the 90's and early 00's was because the winters were very mild, so the waters could warm up much easier.

Despite the extremes this winter, I can safely say, we in Dagenham have only had one major snowfall that has laid, the channel low a month ago that came up from France. It's been Zzzz ever since!

If you want some action you should get down to The Eastbrook pub, it always worked for me.
