Not the southward movement again! Don't think my eyes can handle another night radar watching!! And for no reward! This winter is wearing me out

And anyway, if it's the same area of precipitation that 'battered' the Beccles-Yarmouth-Lowestaaft Triangle, throughout the afternoon, it doesn't actually do anything...

According to the snowdar, an elongated pink article is starting to penetrate the Thames estuary

Glad to see that the precipitation after 10 hours has finally gone from over Lowestoft. I will now start the arduous task of digging myself out.

Tis all moonshine?

This is the current situation in the Snow Depth cup then, looks like threat of snow is now diminishing, for the rest of the night.

If you have any increase in depth, could you please notify me. I'll try and post the results, later on tonight.

Temp is now at its highest all day at 0c after a morning temp of -0.5c and afternoon temp

of -1c weird or what.

Second coldest day for this locale since November.

Was there a cold pool at the surface over N Europe that has been dragged over the UK that has caused this, cc? We have had colder surface temps with 850's at around -4ºC than we did earlier in the month with colder 850's at -12ºC. The flow has certainly been more from the continent with an earlier starting point as it were, in the strong flow.

End of week event does look marginal for the uk, as we have seen before it wouldn't surprise if the precip slipped into France

Sorry been away. My reading is 2cm for Sawbridgeworth. Which means I seem to have lost again by small margin, my snow performance taking on some characteristics of my football team.
