It aint though Yamkin.

The front is not moving north andad the night goes on th wind direction is becoming less favourable for our area. Infuriating this really, I am ten miles too far north! Oh well, at least I should be able to commute tomorrow.

Yes it is hi.gif

Really heavy again here, that plane wouldn't have standed a chance rochford was getting battered at the time and the cross winds are gale force!!

An Easyjet flight from Belfast to Southend had a slight problem in the last 15 minutes. 4 times it circled the airfield including buzzing my house before it had to abort on its 5th attempt and diverted to Stanstead where it landed safely. I can only guess the crosswinds were to blame unless the snow is exceptionally heavy over there!!

Thanks for posting that, love things like that! Glad to hear it landed safely!

Looking at the reports from Brighton(news) looks more like 1cm or 2cm. you on a high hill

A mile or two away from the actual shoreline makes a staggering difference. I am North Brighton and I can no longer see the kerbs.

Those showers do seem to be filling in a bit now, and making it past London without dying off, so maybe we will get some decent snow overnight.

Amazing photos guys. Happy that some of you got hammered today. The SE part of our region was always in pole position.

Very cold and windy here. A few flurries in the wind but no lying snow.

There's more from the Cherbourg area coming mostly in a north-easterly direction, could be some good accumulations in the next 6-12 hours.

I'm 1 mile west of Hove and with little elevation but we have at least 7-8cms, that new report must be incorrect or out of date.

Bullseye!!!

11/10 SNOOWWW

I'm really chuffed for you - bet you get to go sledging tomorrow! I'm really hoping the school's closed so my two get their last snow day of the winter (probably...)

Just wanted to say thanks also for your reply to my earlier post re streamers - for some reason my tablet wouldn't let me respond to your post, but it was much appreciated - am still learning loads but definitely feel marginally less stupid than last year...

-3.5c here. Just got driven back from Orpington station in a Land Rover. In places visibility was down to 20m or less. Strong gusts, heavy snow and drifting across the roads. Got about 3-4 inches here and still coming down. Stay off the roads around here.....

It was the coast road glad to see the reports from Brighton suggest inland (even 0.5 mile) you are getting a hammering
