COAST, you must be getting slightly excited for tomorrow as Eastbourne would seem to be one of the better places to be, barring a 100 mile shift south of course!rofl.gif

Nick - you obviously lived in Sussex before, but I think you also mentioned that you lived in SW London too? Am I mistaken?

I've been all over the place! Surbiton,Wimbledon, Kingston, West Sussex and now here in France.

So I get around!

I'm a sort of weather Shaman so feel the pain for my old region when snow forecasts implode! I'm hoping that it all works out well and some of you get a day off work to enjoy the snow.

Be great if all the region get a real last serious snow event out of this....Thames Streamers, Kent streamers, channel lows, convective snow showers, thundersnow...not to much to ask is it?....smile.png

Well things are starting to look really interesting. I've held off getting too excited so far, as those channel lows always seem to go south, and streamers are rare, but I think I can now get my hopes up. Ice grips out of the cupboard, waterproof trousers, gaiters, extra layers and snow goggles at the ready - or then again, I might get myself a lift to work on Monday instead of cyclingbiggrin.png

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
