Light snow just starting. Seems to be a decent covering building over in Fife though as I can see across to the Fife hills from the back windows.

Mix of snow and hail now.

Everything turning white now but mostly hail. Turned to snow now with nice covering building.

Anyone else think that the band offshore is starting to take a more easterly track than earlier ?

Nice when you get little plooms of drifting snow in your street. Has to be very powdery for that.

Snow on again here but struggling to settle, uppers may be cold enough but don't think the ground is. Seen a few days this winter of falling snow which just doesnt settle

Dundee looks amazing

That precip in the North Sea has intensified a little rofl.gif

Someone somewhere is going to get an utter pasting today if that band swings a bit more.

That wee bit of height here makes a world of difference. Settling nicely.

Radar looks like someone's gonna get pasted!

Is it melting between showers there? Rapidly melts on cars, roofs etc in the 5-10 mins between showers

No melting so far. Road still totally covered too despite cars being along it.

Well that came as a bit of a surprise! Expected a light covering at besf but woke up to a blizzard and a covering thats currently 5cm deep on the doorstep. Eased off now but the band in thd North Sea has still to hit yet...bring it on.
