Up in the air what the rest of the night holds.

It's really coming down here when apparently it should be dry.

Anyway interesting to note minimal temperature difference between Church Fenton at 9M (-0.6c) and Bingley 265m (-0.8c).

25cm / 10 inches of level snow here. Pretty much equal to December 2010.

Absolutely amaZing event here. 7inches widely, 1-2ft drifts, snow still coming down moderately. Hyde park has well over 30cms level snow in untouched areas.

It has turned to rain/sleet here now again. The temperature is extremely marginal at 1.0C with a dewpoint of 0.4C.

If it keeps on at this rate there wont be any snow on the ground by sunrise as its doing a very efficient job of washing it away.

For the massive area it has effected and for the quantity of snow to all in a short period of time I really am surprised at the lack of a red warning for this neck of the woods. Is it due to it been late at night or tat it's effecting the ough n tough north grrrrrrrrrr!!!

Not looked out for a while as I'm cabined up on my night shift. All warm n toasty

The Meto don't seem too interested in what happens over N England unless it's the south east.

For the first time in ages my road has not been ploughed, so it's going to be difficult tomorrow when I go shopping. Hope all the PPN eases off, don't fancy rain at the moment.

I'm gobsmacked that someone has reported the joke i have as my status, what is wrong with people today, always trying to control what you can say and do but

never by addressing you personally, its always in the cowards way of running to the authority in charge. aggressive.gif
