I thin that band will sweep all of Kent from south to north maybe with power to cross to southend

i think you could be right.

Well Tamara road, kick it eastwards a couple of miles, snowing very lightly but not really stacking up in Rye,hope to hit the jackpot over the next few days, hope people are enjoying what they have.

I'm not at all far from you - strange how localised it can be. I've had steady moderate, occasionally quite heavy snow, for the last 45 mins or so

Just seen Darren Bett on BBC and snow definetly covers North and East Kent and South Essex between 10pm-1am tomorrow morning so at least you should get a covering at the very least, maybeblum.gif!!Fingers Crossed.

Snowing lightly here at Petts Wood/Locksbottom borders Temp -1.3(warming up a bit which is strange),snow level still 6cmblum.gif

South Londoners need to suck that little section coming up from the Sussex coast over the Downs. Looks quite pokey

It's still snowing here in Hastings, quite hard too, The Ridge, which is where the hospital is, is now covered with tyre tracks only clear!

I'd post a picture, but am on my mobile only at the moment!

Chiono,

Met Office radar not updating, this ppn over Sussex, does it look like heading towards Croydon.

Working until 9.30 but racing already delayed by 40 minutes at Dundalk, could be even later leaving office!

Regards,

Tom.

Really difficult to say where it is headed looking at the radar.

Who ever isunder the middle of it now will get a good dump!

Hope the ECM is right. If we can hold to the cold with more snow on the ground over next 6/7 days we can await the next re-load of cold which according to GP could be more potent than we are currently seeing if everything falls into place!!Happy Days people!!acute.gif

If you zoom right in on RainToday, it certainly looks that way!

Not sure about Brighton though, I think it may be missed by this band

The Ridge usually does well in situations like this with snow. I drove to Fairlight this afternoon and although there was a trace dusting, the snow was like sifted flour, forming dunes against anything where the wind carried it. With a heavier snowfall and more snow on the ground it would have looked stunning with powdery driftswub.png
