I just hope the temps and dewpoints stay favourable when the wind turn to an easterly.

Well it's a bit iffy here at the moment on the coast. Temp 1.0C with Dew point of 0.6C. Showers still snow but i hear a litlle bit of dripping outside!

The fact that my area is around 25 mile inland will make a big difference no doubt, but it could still be touch and go in the next few days.i just want the snow to stick around for as long as possible lol.

Also, the westerly flow over wales has now faded and stalled so expect a real change in the direction of the easterly pretty soon. Should the central decayed, stalled band across Yorkshire pep up again as the two air messes squeeze together?

Hahaha, no problem, here are my 3 posts from earlier.

I really wouldnt take notice of the forecast right now, last nights snow was not forecast and even during the event most Nowcasts were showing nothing aswell, trust me, you will see snow later! Have some tea, a brew and come back!

I know i keep saying it, but the easterly this evening could turn out to be a decent event with coverage fromSkegness up to at least South Scotland, it woudnt suprise me if these didnt push as far as leeds!

I can 80% say that the easterly this evening WILL deliver, just take a look NW Xtra Radar from the past 4 hours, the band in the North Sea has just intensified more and more and is now pushing in, theres no reason why it shouldnt give us all a good dumping down the coast and further inland!

Guys, we really are back in the game! This heavier stuff to the east really is beggining to push inland and is merging with the lighter precipitation.

Have you got a pretty good covering now?
