All aboard the snow train again, it's back on. Looks like this secondary low developing in the irish sea is the one responsible for the upgrade. I'm ruddy well exhausted watching all these developments, twists and turns.

Upgrade .... that word is banned in here .... what upgrade ?

This is all very confusing!

From Heavy snow to light snow and I dont know what to do - drive to Leeds from Rochdale or get the train to work

Will the Pennines between Milnrow and Leeds get much snow on Friday morning and afternoon?

Any snow around Manchester, Warrington, Chester, Wrexham?

What is this about an upgrade of the snow?

the upgrade was for the south of the region on the 06z, but then it did not need upgrading because it was pretty much as you where since yesterday, now it's about totals / how much / whether the 12z will show an orientation more ne, can't see it myself, more of a want it to really for everyone..wishing on clouds and all the jazz

More doubts how far north the snow will get. In short we could stay dry. I don't think anyone can say until tomorrow.

thanks I think. We will just have to be patient again its not over yet .acute.gif

Northern extent slightly further north on this run, I may get 1cm if I'm lucky

Latest Met office forecast going for flurries overnight and the potential for disruptive snow to Cheshire,Merseyside and Gtr Manchester with the significant snow risk reduced to the north of the region although light snow here is certainly possible.
