Ah right that explains the variation...Reflux oh dear our middle one had that.... :/ just don't let doctors give you junior gaviscon for it...that caused painful constipation and even more screaming

3C & rubbish liquid falling making yesterday seem like another universe (ok I exaggerate).

Comments above about young uns remind me how lucky we were with ours - apart from No.2 having a couple of years when he would just come and wriggle in between us at around 3am, but quietly, he just felt left out!

Just remember chaps - no snipping or you'll be on Gabapentin for years!!

HC lol I was not gonna start that topic again unless there was horrible zonal weather for weeks on end but seen as u mentioned it :) I told Mrs Edo I had no intention of having the snip as heard a few horror stories and she was very supportive of the decision.......my problem now is she hinted she would be happy to hav a fourth and I most certainly am not so she could be playing me

Who next for Scottish Rugby??? That's Robinson away.. I fear for the 6 Nations - more spoon action and typical Scottish bittersweet sporting action for the New Year.

Edit - yes -14 as a maximum - guaranteed tabloid action.

Currently 0.7C with some wet snow. The nearby Slochd which has about 500ft on us has the proper stuff * see Cheggers Tool (that sounds wrong!?)

bad.gif Pretty rough today, might take the dog for a walk to try shake off some of the pain. I feel like a pig shat in my head as a certain drunken eccentric once said

Ps. Welcome along Kelly, good to have another from up this way

edit* If you don't mind me asking where abouts near(ish) the Sneck are you?

No a bad weekend for Caley fans tho - best team in the world now as you might say if in sunday morning delusional mode. Should be a good derby in the snow next weekend... (as in ICT v RC)

Welcome on board airliquide. Seems you've arrived at just the right moment for kilted cold and snow shenanigans.

If you need advice on tropospheric modelling, nappy changing and knitting, this is the place for you.

I know its quite far into FI but I'd be like a kid on xmas eve if this chart made it to T48. A strong easterly with the angle perfect for my area to benefit from a Forth - Clyde streamer. At least -10 uppers kicking the north sea snow machine into life. PLEASEEEE!!!

Bonjour. Bienvenue en Ecosse.

Mrs SS is from Normandie. She loves Scotland but still has reservations about the weather. We specialise in horizontal rain that's just above the freezing point of water here.

EDIT.

Oh, and this might come in handy for you, e.g. for posts from Big Innes.

Temp up to 1.6C now, any hints of snow have scarpered and now it's your average misty, chilly Scottish day

Haha aye I was making similar proclamations last night about Caley's default status. Got my ticket to the Derby, gonna be a cold one. I was at a derby one New Year where it was so cold I resorted to ripping my fathers scarf at both ends so we could wear it like some sort of conjoined hat. The height of fashion. I'm glad it's not at Caley stadium, never been to a colder park. The decision to put that ground there was the act of a sadist weirdo

Good afternoon everyone!

Hope everyone is well and enjoying their weekend!

Some very seasonal charts around at the moment, really is looking like a fantastic start to winter!

Obviously the North/North East/East is always the best place to be but with little troughs popping up and the North sea snow machine (surprises in store - now time radar/lampost watching) then I am sure many will not be disappointed.

This coming week the day's just get colder and colder, sharp frosts later in the week! Bliss!

Then snow chances increase from next weekend.

We have been really spoiled by the weather gods the past few years! Long may it continue!

Wherever in Scotland you are from, enjoy! gathering.gifdrunk.gifsmiliz19.gif

I'm on the Black Isle - recently moved closer to sea level than I was before so hoping I still see some decent snow! Couple of pics from New Years day 2010 just to get us in the mood :D (credit has to go to my Dad for these - he takes a good pic).
