An overcast drizzly day with more persistent steady rain around mid afternoon.....the word 'pants' sums it up quite nicely!

Welcome to the land of Bristol Channel / M4 corridor showers AJ! Don't go expecting many storms, although your well placed for days

that have pulse storms under unstable SW flows.

Today was the 7th day out of 8 with no sunshine and tomorrow looks like another!

It looks utter rubbish... my only hope is that at least we are going to be in a cool wet spell with polar maritime air often so there is always a chance of a surprise marginal event as we move later into november. good.gif

What a ghastly cold, wet morning to wake up to.

This is the sort of day I hate getting out of my warm, comfy bed for. Becomes hard this time if year.

No S forecast within the reliable but it will certainly remain cool and unsettled and sometimes rather windy for all of us stuck in the UK. drinks.gif

I've beaten my record for the wettest month this year with all the showers today, 175mm now.

Expecting it to slowly increase before November. smile.png

Nice sunrise this morning.

Cool but dry. Think it may be a case of make the most of it though!

I can actually see the sun for the first time in a long time! Currently 9.5C and not expecting much to change apart from the wind picking up slightly later on.

93.4mm of rain too this month, so still very wet.

Wow is it windy here today. Had some showers but the wind is really fierce. Gusts of over 30mph registered here.

Quite a squall line developing on the leading edge of the rainband currently over west Wales & SW England coast now.

Looks like a wet afternoon & evening to come across the region, with some very gusty winds.

This post from the SE and EA thread might be useful for those tracking this latest front and thereafter.

Squall line is now 25miles to the west. Unfortunately it appears to be sadly lacking decent rainfall until it gets over the UK, so for us getting the input direct from the channel, it's not looking much more than some medium rainfall

Got absolutely soaked taking the little one trick or treating earlier.

Hasn't stopped since either. Not much in the way of wind here, but some persistent & very heavy rain currently!
