Morning! Started the day off in Wyoming and headed south to play the slight risk. Missed out on a cell that dropped a tornado in Wyoming but got the beast that tracked south from Byers, CO. Caught a cone tornado and insane structure near Calhan. Also got cored with baseball sized hail getting away from this thing to head north for todays risk and ended up with two cars getting some decent hail dents and one getting a cracked windshield Posted Image

Couple of stitches and some video of the cone and core :D

Again twas a very huge supercell from which we got a tornado - It tried a few times while we tracked her and then eventually produced - I have not edited my video yet but here are some views of the storm.

needless to say the guests enjoyed the experience and some saw their first tornado

We then had to wend our way back north which was a slight problem.

You can tell when the fear factor kicks in. Firstly as the hail starts the car is full of noise and "talk!". Then as it gets more intense the silence kicks in! It happened on Tour 3 also.Posted Image

Yet another great chase day, lot of driving but fantastic pay-off, never seen colours like this in a storm, the inflow wind was mental (and tried to nick my cap, had to vault a barbed wire fence to retrieve it from a field Posted Image ) and a tornado to boot, proper chase day !!!!!!!!!

I'm as green as those clouds with envy! :) Structure looks just wonderful and the hail, brilliant! I say it all the time but i would love to see baseball sized hail.
