clear blue sky with a lightish breeze from the NW, no sign of any white frost but a low of 0.6C suggests there must have been a ground frost. Confirmed now its lighter and the small pond has a thin skim of ice on it.

here is my weather station, for local written forecasts or simply browsing further afield.

Fantastically clear morning with thick frost, far thicker with far clearer/cleaner air than the easterly cold spell. It is currently -3.2C here and oddly enough I can't find another weather station in England as cold, they all seem to have had a breeze or cloud or something keeping the temp up.
2012 so far.. (2011 in brackets)
Max temp: 20.8°C - 28th March (26.4°C - 3rd June)

Min temp: -7.6°C - 4th Feb (-7.4°C - 31st Jan)
Highest Gust: 50mph - 5th Jan (42mph - 23rd Oct, 12th Dec)

Thunder heard/lightning seen days: 2 - 14th April (3 rumbles to the SE), 21st April (distant-ish rumbles to south) (6 - only 2 significant and not distant)
