A very wild night across Western Scotland look at the shipping forecast saying sea state is 'phenomenal'.

Hebrides

Gale warnings - Issued: 0352 UTC Wed 07 Mar

Wind

West backing southwest later, 7 to severe gale 9.

Sea State

Very high, occasionally phenomenal.

Weather

Squally wintry showers, rain later.

Visibility

Moderate, occasionally very poor.

Been a windy day here with gusts reaching 56mph also our council have issued a flood warning around the West coasts tonight due to a big swell and tide.
