dry and breezy, 5-6/8 CuSc with some Ac visible above it-min temperature=8.7C

Dry after earlier rainfall which was quite intense for a while with a gust of 47mph.

Roll on Spring/Summer 2012.... Plenty of active cells this season please... Not before some late season frosts and wintry showers :)

8/8 ths Sc and St. Quite mild with temp of 9.1C and a WSW wind of 25mph gusting 30. Rain imminent as the cold front saunters through.

A mild and cloudy night with drizzle at times. Currently overcast with continuous moderate rain.
The last snow drift visible on my twice daily trek onto the moor disapperared by yesterday afternoon.

At 0900;
Temp', 5.9c
24 hr max', 8.3c
24 hr min', 5.3c
Grass min', 4.6c
Rainfall in 24 hrs ending 0900, 1.6 mm
Mean wind speed, 26 mph SW
8 oktas Nst and St fractus
Vis', over 80 km.
Patiently awaiting the return of the Younger Dryas.

A few minutes of hail around 1115 followed by half an hour of sleet as the cold front moved through.The temp' fell from 6.3c at 1100 to 3.2c at 1130 but has since recovered a little to 3.5c. It's now dry with 7 oktas Ast and Acu.
Patiently awaiting the return of the Younger Dryas.

Heavy to very heavy rain this morning with a squally SW wind.
Sunny spells from 1300 and cooler.
