Morning all, not sure temps etc as weather station broken, hoping some one can help, I know very little about reading charts or how to predict the weather I only read whats on the forums and look at the 10 day at a glance thing, but my 8 year old son has a real interest in the weather, does anyone know any sites / links he can read that will give him an insight on how to tell what may happen etc etc. ( He was up at 5.30am grabbed the laptop and went straight on to Net Weather!!!!

Overnight: Very windy with moderate to heavy showers, maximum wind gust 40mph SSW around 21:00 GMT, turning mild for a short while though. A clearance reached here around 5am. At observation, mostly clear, cool and breezy. There were sunny spells through the day and it remained dry, the temperature briefly reached 5.9c though was a degree or so lower for the most part. Feeling chilly in the fresh to strong westerly wind.

Snowing here for the last 15 minutes with occasional heavy bursts. Obviously no accumulations due to wet surfaces. That's 2 snow days in a row!

Interesting to see max temp. forecasted now is 5C but its only 3C at the moment.
