As I can't post these updates in the Model Thread I've decided to start a thread dedicated to these forecasts and model insights.

Here's the latest update:

2010/2011: Amazing with 30 days of falling snow, more than 50 days of lying snow and a white Christmas plus a Big Freeze December.

2011/2012: Satisfactory with 20 days of falling snow, 10 days of lying snow and a good December for snow.

Great idea I really enjoy these - very informative ! Thanks

Where the models are concerned nothing is set in stone, it's all up in the air.

He occasionally presented the BBC midlands forecast a few yeras ago. Like most knowledgable amateurs, he allows his love of weather of the extreme kind, to influence his impartiality of what is actually likely to happen.
