I had a 53mph gust this morning, which for my station is pretty high. A less sheletered anonometer 5 miles away recorded a 75mph gust before 7am. Still raining here, with just over 20mm of rain so far, and the river outside the office nice and high, but unlikely to go over.
Air frosts since the autumn - forty six
Lowest temperature: -8.6ยบ
Days with snow falling: nineteen
All views I express are either my own or someone else's, which I've copied because I think they might make me sound intelligent, but definitely not Paul's or Netweather's.
