8.9c here in Central Oxford, Cloudy & Murky but mild. Very windy aswell currently 18mph, going to get alot windier later!

At observation, overcast, mild, there has been some light rain within the last hour. The temperature 8.1c, the max for the 24 hour period ending at 09:00 GMT.

The brief mild period is here with the current 11.0c being the highest temperature of the month so far, I wonder if today's maximum will be the month's maximum?

A dull, windy day with extensive Stratocumulus and some showery drizzle and those are the current conditions too.
11 May = the 1st completely dry day for 25 days!!

Cloudy, windy and still on the mild side of the front, with patchy drizzle. Currently overcast and dry 12.1 deg C, wind fresh SW. Expecting things to change in the next couple of hours.
Celestial object of the season: M64, the 'Black Eye' galaxy in the constellation of Coma Berenices. High in the south on spring nights and visible with amateur telescopes against a dark sky.
In 2012 so far: maximum 25.4, minimum -9.6, days with falling snow 5, days with lying snow 5, days with thunder 2.
Last year: maximum 29.6, minimum -2.8, days with falling snow 1, no days with lying snow, days with thunder 5.
Since June 2002: hottest day 35.0 (10/8/03), coldest day -1.9 (3/12/10), warmest night 20.3 (20/7/06), coldest night -9.6 (11/2/12).
