Dry and sunny in Cleadon, 3.1C, some decaying showers to the west. There was a minimum of 1.3C at 12:45am, but the temperature rose when the showers came over between 3 and 8am, resulting in some sleety stuff but nothing on the ground.

An interesting day due to a shower streamer from the Bristol Channel which has been feeding across Somerset into SW Wiltshire then on to Dorset throughout most of last night and all day so far! It has remained dry here, with the NW Radar showing the shower edges occasionally being just a mile or so away while the sun has shone for most of the day.

Cold and windy from the WNW, 5.6c after 1.4c minimum which allowed a slight frost.
11 May = the 1st completely dry day for 25 days!!

-Look up you never know what you may see!
