Cloudy with occasional brighter spells and very cold. Very light dusting of snow this morning but nothing since.

A dry morning with a good deal of high cloud. Light rain arrived from the west during the early afternoon and quickly turned to sleet and ending with a short spell of wet snow. A clearance followed but there were further showers of sleet and wet snow between 1715 and 1745.

Dry with clear intervals and quite mild last night.
Colder today, quite windy and showery, some very heavy with hail at times. A few sunny intervals. Fresh west to SW am, veered WNW pm.

Min: 5.8c @ 10am
Max: 7.2c @ 1230 (although it was 8c early in the night)
Rain yesterday: 0.4mm
Rain since 0900: 7.7mm

Currently: Recent rain and hail showers, windy, rather cold.
Temp: 3.9c
RH: 87%
Pressure: 1002mbar, rising slowly.

Temperatures hovered between 4-6.5c overnight then peaked at 7.8c around midday before falling in showers this afternoon, currently clear and cold at 1.6c

apparently theres thundersnow in the stoke-on-trent area!
Winter 2011-12:
04 Dec, Brief wet snow shower in the evening.
16-17 Dec, Outbreaks of wet snow and sleet.
18 Dec, Heavy snow from 8.30am, stopped at 9.30 but gave a 2cm covering, thawed after lunch.
02 Feb, Light snow showers in the morning, no lying snow.
04 Feb, Light snow beginning around 2:30pm, becoming heavy and settling eventually. Non-stop until midnight, with 9cm depth.
05 Feb, Lying snow of 9cm, slow thaw starting eventually with high temperature of 2.0c.
06 Feb, Patches of snow and slushy snow on roads, rapid thaw underway.
09 Feb, Light snow on-and-off from 6pm, giving a light covering on top of leftovers. Eventually turning to freezing rain later in the evening.
10 Feb, Dusting of snow from flurries overnight.
18 Feb, Sleet showers in the evening.
04 Apr, A return to winter with snow showers all morning.

evening all,
Here in Paris and my suburbs ( Orly airport station) temperature did not go below 11c from saturday 3pm to today sunday 9 pm with rain and rain ( well we need that !!!!!!!) and sometimes quite windy.
top temp today 12.7c clounds in the morning with some clear spells mid afternoon but no sunshine just getting clearer and very light rain now and then all day
At around 6 pm the wind got stronger and some heavy rain at about 9 pm .
Now the sky is getting clear with some stars shining and temp falling
Today was last day of very warm temp. Cooler temps forecasted but just average or a touch above.
Now : 1001 mbar rising slowly
RH : 87%
temp: just above 8c

Also cold, with clear skies. Temperature currently around 1.6*C. The snow shield in strong force here.

A small risk of some wintry showers during the day, but probably won't be enough to eradicate the shield!
