2c, patches of fog. Surprisingly cool start today, mostly clear currently.

A dry night with fog gradually thickening. Currently thick fog, although the sky is visible above it, especially above 330 mts.
Temp' is 5.6c after a min' of 4.7c and a grass min' of 3.3c
Rainfall in 24 hrs ending 0900, 0.1 mm
Mean wind speed, 5 mph SW
1 okta Ci
Vis', 100 mts.

Sunday 20th November 2011:

Thick fog developed overnight with visibility down to <100 yards. Low 2.7c with 0.1c on the grass. At observation, thick fog, drizzle.

Today's readings for the 24 hrs up to 09:00 GMT:

8 Oktas: Fog Stratus.
Visibility, <100 yards.
Temperature: 5.1°C
Humidity: 98%
Dew point 4.9°C
Wind Direction: Force 1-2 S
Barometer: 1020mb rising slowly.

Maximum temperature to 18:00 GMT yesterday: 9.0°C
Minimum temperature overnight: 2.7°C

24-hour maximum = 9.0°C
24-hour minimum: 2.7°C

Minimum temperature on grass: 0.1°C
Rainfall total: 0.2 mm

Yesterday:

Clear spells overnight and this morning, though enough breeze tp prevent the temperature falling below 6.0c. At observation, clear and sunny. There were further sunny spells through the morning, but cloudy and misty conditions spread in to the area from around lunch time making for a dull afternoon. Top temperature 9.0c. The evening saw a few clear spells after 20:00 GMT with fog patches developing soon afterwards.

November: 2011 so far:

Mean temperature: 9.6c (+ 3.5c) of the local average)
Maximum temperature: 15.9 on the 3rd.
Minimum temperature: -0.5c on the 7th

Thick fog yesterday evening cleared for a while but returned overnight. Quite a cool night, with a min of 0.8C. Currently 2.8C though most of the fog has cleared.
March and April 2011 combined only gave 3.8mm of rainfall. Truly exceptional.

patchy fog by 2330 and this morning thick fog and overcast sky, about 2-300m, temperature is on 4.6C, min a short time ago was 8.0C

Fog overnight vis down to around 50m quite a cold night temp down to 1.7c currently fog vis 200m temp 4.2c

Very foggy night with visibility down to 100m at most. Still foggy this morning but prob 250m visibility. No sign of sun burning it off as yet though.
Been ages since I've seen a good fog!
6.3c low overnight noe 6.8c.

What a shock, yet again thick fog and no sunshine, can't even remember the last time I saw the sun its been so long.
9c after a low of 8c, worst weather possible :lol:

Currently 6c with fog. Was sunny earlier but since temperatures have stabilised and the fog has thickened. Cooler day than of late, was 2c at 0900.

The fog has finally cleared here to give some sunshine. Its still rather cool though with a temperature of 7.4C and 99% humidity.

The min temp this morning was 3.6C, making it the lowest of the month so far.
The Last 6 months (compared to 1981-2010 averages):

December 2011: 5.9°C (+1.1°C)
January 2012: 5.4°C (+0.9°C)
February 2012: 4.7°C (0.0°C)
March 2012: 8.4°C (+1.8°C)
April 2012: 7.6°C (-0.8°C)
May 2012: 9.4°C (-1.9°C) to the 20th.

Fog then mist/low cloud this morning, a bright afternoon with hazy sunny spells and some Altocumulus/Stratocumulus.

12.3c with a gentle SSW breeze.
11 May = the 1st completely dry day for 25 days!!

6c and very dense fog here on the A1(m). High of 7c. Mystical setting, lovely and becoming dark. Autumnal.

Not even seen any fog today, turned out to be a horrible day despite models pointing towards a sunny day..

Grey all day, and cool. Not a hint of brightness, but at least it was dry.

9.7C is the current temp, which is also the max for today.
Winter 2011/2012.

Snow falling: 5
Snow Lying: 2 - 16/12/11. Heavy snow most of the morning into afternoon. Stopped 2pm. 2 inches. (20/02/12 - dusting)
Lowest temperature: -5.5C (10/02/12 @ 4:47am)
Ice days: 0
Frosts: 21
Air frosts: 15
Days with hail falling: 8

Clear with a ground frost early last night, cloudier and milder later.
Patchy cloud with sunny intervals today, although sunny early afternoon. Very mild again, light SE breeze.

Min: 2.5c @ midnight
Max: 13.6c @ 1400
Dry yesterday and so far today

Currently: Clear spells
Temp: 9.7c
RH: 89%
Pressure: 1014mbar, falling slowly.
