a coldish fairly clear start with some patches of Sc, soon giving way to a short spell of overcast skies with fog (about 250 metres), giving way in turn to a return to almost clear blue skies.
The min was 4.7C its now 6.6C

This autumn has been truly awful so far. Stats for Polmont Average NOV CET 8.4c 2011

November 2010 CET 4.0c. Whilst we still have a week to go. There is nothing cold coming so we are looking at double of last years CET. I just hope the pattern changes or we could end up with no Snow until next year!

I don't understand November13- the central england temperature is and was above those amounts for the last 2 novembers...?

8c, patchy cloud and quite sunny, breeze from the SW. Low of 6c.
Hoping for a future in meteorology!

I meant CST Central Scotland Temp...I must be losing it! Yeh basically the central Scotland Temps are double those of last November so this is hurting us this year!

This neverending spell of mostly clear nights and then overcast days with 0 minutes of sunshine is getting a bit tedious now.

theres a bit of a story doing the rounds , it goes a bit like this , its been so mild for so long winter is bound to change things , my mother in law says that in her village people are stocking up on firewood and they are buying large bags of salt . it all could be true but as equally not . the weather today is absolute heaven , if anybody is interested theres some good web cams in winnipeg , and theres some good snow about , on some of the cams you can see the occasionall cyoti raiding the rubbish bins . last winter i watched a couple of cyotis having a bust up with a n east canadian wolf in the snow . if you just type in LIVE WINNIPEG WEBCAMS ON GOOGLE AND CLICK ON TOP SIGHT , BUT THERES 1000 S OUT THERE , ALL THE BEST LEGRITTER

Reasonable day here with variable Cu but recently an intrusion of Cs and Ci with a touch of ragged Cu. I suspect the proximity of the cold front and the Camborne ascent is very moist. Temp 12.7C with a SE breeze.
