I did hear a few distant rumbles between 12.30 and just after 1 this morning. The first one was greeted with (eh? what was that?), after hearing a few more to the south of me....I went to bed, half disappointed to still having not had a storm this year, half thankful to have finally heard thunder this summer.
Thunderstorm free zone since July 29th 2008.
