Invest 92W became Tropical Storm Tokage this morning, with an intensity of 35kts. Shear was low, but now Tokage has begun to interact with Typhoon Ma-on, and shear has increased dramatically. Convection has sheared away and left the LLC almost entirely exposed. Continued Fujiwhara Interaction will occur with Typhoon Ma-on, and the smaller TS Tokage will be absorbed within the next 24hrs as it gets pulled northeastwards towars the larger and stronger cyclone.

The image below shows weakening Tokage being dragged towards Typhoon Ma-on:

This animation shows the interaction between Tokage and Ma-on well:

love it when this occurs!

And that image shows it even better! It's a fascinating phenomenon. Tokage doesn't stand a chance!
