Ah Gutted for ya Paul! It was nice meeting you in Oklahoma in 2010 at the Guest Inn!

I agree the 1st Chase Chances are about 14 days away, looks like Temps are going to be in the 70's with the 1st Major Chase Risk at the end of February and Start of March if Models stay the same. About time we had some Virtual Chasing / Training

Some unbelievable cold over the mid-west at the moment, as cold as the south pole in some areas cold.gif. It got down to -24c in Tulsa OK, and yet temperatures are going to be between the 60s-70s by the end of the week. amazing stuff. its hard to imagine in a few months its going to be in the 90's most days.

To show off the fact we can embed our videos into the forum now(!), and to relive some memories of the previous storm chases (and hopefully share some unseen footage over the next couple of months), here's a starter video with some highlights from the 2007-2009 chases...

Will get some videos up from 2010 from tomorrow..

Morning All!!

I am starting to get VERY excited about the chase this year, I was wondering if any of the Tour 2 people are staying a day late or Tour 3 going a day early coming back a day late would like to share a room to keep it on the cheap?

Ebaying some of my older gear so I can upgrade today ;-) You never know I might also get my vids edited from 2010!

Have a good Sunday all!

I have mine handy so will make a copy.

John that would be great if you could make a copy and bring it to Cardiff?!! Will get you a :drinks:

Again, whilst looking for some photos i found this. It was recorded whilst filming for Natures Fury was underway. We all got stuck in the mud. Dave Ewoldt set off walking and found a Kansas farmer with a John Deer tractor to pull us out. Hooked up and towed out backwards. Ian donated his flip flops to the storm gods.

Thank you Dave for the tornadoes, I think it was 7 in two days.

It's not quite time for the kit lists to start flying, but for those who would like to pack some quality camera lenses without having to sell a body part to fund it these guys are very good - Lenses for Hire

Good prices and very clean kit, and less frustrating than haunting ebay to grab a bargain.....
