She's certainly got a nice style of forecasting, best at BBC Scotland at the moment. Although that's not saying much.

She sounds to be the thinking man's Scottish Palin! :)
"In general it's much more difficult for us to do extremes, so whilst many of us love them and crave them, we should perhaps leant to lower our expectation levels and try to enjoy the weather we do get. It maybe difficult for some to accept this fact and to be honest I understand why, but having lived in one of the hottest parts of the world for many years I can assure you there are many millions of people that would give their right arm for our gentle, forgiving climate - we are actually very lucky in the grand scheme of things." -

Maybe he'd be better at forecasting the weather...sorry to say this but the BBC Scotland forecasts have been really poor recently, continuing their poor form since about late December last year. We have been forecast for precip in a 24 hour forward forecast many times which then hasn't materialised.

This was widely discussed in the regional thread in winter and it is as true now as it was then.

In the pretty stakes I agree Pit, but our Judith has something of the dominatrix about her - "And here comes the naughty rain..." :good:

I watched her a lot during the winter. I don't remember her once reporting a temperature above -10c at night in her forecast from late December onwards. She's probably the best local forecaster on TV.
May to the 6th
Mean Max 11.5c (-6.0c)
Mean Min 7.3c (-0.6c)
Mean 9.4c (-3.3c)
