All views I express are either my own or someone else's, which I've copied because I think they might make me sound intelligent, but definitely not Paul's or Netweather's.

Wow a cloudy frost free night only about the tenth since the 10th of December, currently 5c and the breeze feels very warm. Ground starting to dry but great areas remain saturated over frozen ground.Grass is burn"t brown by the frost(decades since I remember this) and prospects for sowing crops are fairly far away so when it does dry enough eventually, the weather will probably change.(Grumpy old farmer syndrome). Some daffodils just peeping through the ground in the garden now but will definitely be April before they flower.

Blazing sunshine with a light breeze yet again. Incredibly dry air lately (for here anyway), relative humidity dropped below 40% a couple of times last week. Outlook appears to stay pretty dry in Wales, or at least no significant rain, for the next five days, according to GFS and ECMWF I think.
