Awesome!! That radar is going to be fantastic as we start nearing our 'thunderstorm season' - which for me is anytime from April to September 
The road networks will be a fantastic addition IMO - it will give me better idea to know whether to go 'chasing' a storm or not, as I'll know exactly where it is.
I take it that the lightning detector will still overlay as per the V4 radars?

lightning will be in and improved...
there is a bit of a rewrite going on for internet explorer at the moment but it's still no.1 priority here

Good news - hopefully tomorrow will see the initial beta release of the new radar - being the first beta it is likely to still have bugs and will have a (very) limited feature set but hopefully it'll give you all a chance to take a look at the basic functionality, try it out, give your feedback and report any bugs you find.
We're not 100% nailed on for this yet, but I'm pretty hopeful it'll be there tomorrow...
