Ah well. You staying up means you might get an unlikely derby next season against Hull! Wonder how that'll go down.

Yeah, gotta hope we hold onto Brett Pitman. We could have walked this league if the FL had let us bring in Charlie Austin in the summer, just look what he's done at Swindon!

What a game at Glanford Park last night :drunk: 2-0 down with 8 mins left and scunny fought back to get a 2-2 draw. They have stayed up which is incredible :yahoo: :yahoo: good luck with getting the point your team needs, and it will of been a fantastic season for both our teams :drinks: :drunk: :drunk:

Ahh yes a big club like leeds have FINALLY made it out of league one at the 3rd attempt, well done ;)  scunny are going to be playing championship football 2 seasons in a row without spending much money at all.
It shows how much scunny have overachieved in recent seasons, and how much leeds have gone backwards that your pleased they are back in the championship

Yep, embarrassing I know, but we were/are where we were/are, and hopefully the worst is now over, because I can't tell you how depressing the last three seasons have been. Whatever you might say, a team which can call on 38000 fans for a League One game has got to feel some amount of pride

I quite like to see Leeds getting out of the quagmire, though that is influenced by the fact that I had a great year in Leeds (near the University/city centre) in 2005/06.

I'm aware of the "Dirty Leeds" image, but I get an impression of it being a "black mark" against the club's reputation stemming from decades ago that may not be representative of the club today.

Was more pleased to see Norwich City get promoted though (sorry Ipswich fans)

Yeah it must of been depressing considering some of the teams in league one :unknw: I think they will do very well in the championship next season, and as you say the amount of fans that turn up for the games has been very good indeed. It will be great that another big club will be coming to Glanford park next season.

I would like to see Charlton and Dag & Red gain promotion from their respective divisions, Charlton because they have a captain in Bailey who should be playing at a much higher level. Daggers because I have followed Jon Nurse's career since he wandered into our club one day saying he could play football :cray:

Well, I sincerely hope things have changed in Leeds - a few days ago (5/5/1990) was the the 20th anniversary of the Leeds riots. Although I didn't live in Dorset at the time, there are many people in the area who still harbour resentment at the so-called Leeds "fans" who laid waste to Bournemouth town centre.

And as for Grimsby - it's a massive shame. But ugly scenes at the Pirelli.

Kudos to Burton Albion for the Cherries celebrations after promotion. Would have been there, but was still down South.

Well, onwards and upwards to League One! Posted Image
