I Need Help With What Camera To Buy

I currently have the latest samsung 10 mega pixel digital camera. and its rubbish for taking pictures of the weather. I want a cannon or something like that but i dont want to spend much money. What good enough at a low budget to take pictures of clouds, lightning shots etc and how much.

What are the specs of your current camera i.e. zoom magnitude, other features etc.

The one you posted has 18x optical zoom which is really good (much more than most digital cameras)

I'm not an expert though so i'm sure other people may have better advice.

current is 10.1mp camera with a 12x zoom

I may purchase a digital SLR, looking at the EOS canon range, about 400 quid im looking at.

I am now a proud owner of a Canon PowerShot A2100 IS Digital Camera 12.1MP :lol: Face detection, Image Stabalizer, also support over 30 frames per second on video recording, and supports HDMI. Really happy with it cant wait to take some pictures .
