Tornado warnings coming in thick and fast now, this is turning into one tornadofest.!!!,

hope they dont hit populated areas and be careful it a seriously dangerous

place to be at the mo.

Yes looking like a no way out situation for some areas.. Going to be tight for a punch and get away with it.. Going to be difficult to outrun these too because of the speed they are moving..

Any old barns with a knife store you could run through to get to the pumping shed where you could tie yourselves down with leather belts to the pipe system that goes 30ft down??? Wadday ya mean no??? LOL

Wedge tornado shown on Dennis Sherrod and Thunderstorm Teams chase cams at the moment!

Aren't they different cells? Sherrod is near Dighton and Thunderstorm Team near Quinter.

edit: ignore that it is the same - I've got windows open all over the screen !

Matt Grantham's cam is showing a very pronounced wall cloud on the cell heading straight for Ness City.

The Ness Cell has moved a bit more north and the couplet is moving past Ness City to the west. The cell behind also looks to be wrapping up. I suspect the Ness City cell will be rain wrapped given the way it looks.

Couplet on the cell nearest Ness City is absolutely insane right now...

Edit:

New couplet forming directly north of Ness City

Would not be surprised if there is another bigger tornado buried in the rain... There are several areas of rotation on this storm, and 156kt g2g shear in the central area of the hook. That's incredibly strong.

You seen whats heading towards Greensburg right now? That cell is a monster and is moving right. It's been merging with the cell to the south for a little while, but once it has finished absorbing that cell, it could reorganise. In the area it is in, violent tornadoes are quite likely

Edit... New radar scan does not look pretty!!!!

Nice one again! Looks like it's recycling and getting ready to drop another!.

The Tor warned cells near the KS/OK border have tops well over 60K feet. The Greensburg storm is actually indicating 72K feet in one area but I don't know if that is just an artifact... Couplet is strengthening on that storm and it is wrapping up a large hook echo ...

Oh wow... 158kt Gate to Gate shear on the Greensburg cell now. Not good!!!!

Gotta hope the storm to the south strengthens and disrupts the northern storm.... although that would only put the people in the path of the southrn storm in mroe danger :/

Maxed out the radar at 240kt gate to gate shear..... Even GRLevel3 was showing the TVS at >200kt.. Not seen a couplet that strong since the last Greensburg storm... In fact I believe this is stronger....

Well, the mesocyclone is occluding right now. New hook forming further to the south. This will porbably only shift the threat up towards Haviland, Cullison or Pratt.

As I said earlier, this area is primed for violent tornadoes. Once it reorganises itself with this cell merger it will most likely produce more violent tornadoes.

If you were watching last year.. this guy will be familliar..

http://data.ksn.com/video/radarstream.html

Edit.. Greensburg still torwarned.. I'm not happy, in fact I'm quite sad!!

He still says 'as shown by our high resolution doppler radar' all the time..lol

Earlier they were showing Dennis Sherrods stream of that large wedge he

was on.
