Looks a unprecident event for turkey..hasn t stopped yet..

New video shows the extent of the earthquake damage across the city in southern Turkey.

Sadly I think the death toll from this is going to be huge...could be over 100,000 I think with so many residential blocks collapsed.

Unfortunately the 72hr 'window' for survival is closing-in today, infastructure damage and bad weather hasn't helped itnl & domestic recovery teams at all and you only need to see the news reports on the ground to get a idea of just how few people are managing to get the remaining survivors out from the rubble. After today the rescue efforts will immediately be switching to humanitarian sustainability in terms of logistically keeping some 25 million (without anything) warm, fed, sheltered, and medically cared for.

I think you are right going by the footage. It could be any number really when all is said and done. Horrendous and extremely sad.
