Great Asby Weather

Air frosts since the autumn - forty six

Lowest temperature: -8.6º

Days with snow falling: nineteen

All views I express are either my own or someone else's, which I've copied because I think they might make me sound intelligent, but definitely not Paul's or Netweather's.

Don't normally post on here, but thought you'd like to know that you can always check snow conditions in Nenthead on the Nenthead webcam, situated about 200 feet above the village.

Disappointing that the MO webcams are to be withdrawn owing to " obsolete specialist technology";

Met Office webcams withdrawal

Those webcams were never maintained well though - Most of them don't work properly. I'm glad they are going.

I find this attitude rather perplexing, that the demise something of use and enjoyment to weather enthusiasts such as ourselves should make you feel "glad"! :lol:

I have actually found the local Trawsgoed webcam highly useful, of good quality and functions quite adequately:

Although I just had to delete my supporting link to the cam as its a week out of date and showing hot sunshine :lol:
