rain has stopped,gone clear and temp has fallen to 1.6c and still falling,leaving for work in a min roads could get slippy!

its soo borderline as over in yorkshire they have lying snow.

Never mind.

Yeah I think were on the wrong side of the Pennines again, probably something like this has happened http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Rmgfs068.gif maybe? It's still interesting though, as it is an unforecasted area of precip, sort of give you a little tiny bit of hope :p

Cloudy, grey and cold what a lovely morning.... not! No frost anyway 3.2c, hopefully tonight will be much better for potential frost.

Woke up to snow this morning which had covered all surfaces. gone off the road now but very slushy but still all over the cars. How did everyone do in our region?

Will probably be better for frost tonight.

GFS has temperatures widely down to -1C, and this is usually a few degrees out, so don't be surprised to wake up to a min of -3C or even -4C. Wind dependant.

Still looks fairly decent for some of the NW for Friday. The GFS has an area of precipitation filtering down from the North West. Could be interesting, especially as it's set to arrive at around 9am. Temperatures will be at their coldest, and the dewpoints & uppers should be fairly low.

So especially if you live on high ground, it could be quite an event.

Temp got down to 0.8c overnight. Car windscreen was iced up. Seems some of you further East fared a little better and got a light dusting.
