The Kennall River-a reminder of summer. It's remarkable to think that this river player a vital role in the the Cornish industrial landscape of the 19th century. It drove many water wheels particularly for the famous Perran Foundry and the Kennall gunowder works where the photo was taken. Not a place tp be prancing about when there is ice and snow about.
